Riding a Motorcycle in Kotor Bay

Depending on when you are travelling to Montenegro, there is a good chance that you can explore Montenegro on a motorcycle. Since everyone travels to cities such as Budva, Kotor, and Tivat, those can be a good starting point for sightseeing. The hottest months in summer are July and August, and this is the time when you should be travelling to the Mountains of Montenegro and exploring places such as Durmitor National Park or the area around the city of Kolasin. First, you should start with the trip around Kotor Bay as it opens stunning views and you have old cities along the way. Definitely spend some time visiting Kotor Old Town, and stop by for lunch or a cup of coffee in the historical city of Perast. Doesn’t matter from which city you start your journey. A round trip around Kotor Bay will be around 50km. Off-season, this route is not that busy with traffic, and you can enjoy the views.
