About the tour

The Montenegro 360° Motorcycle Tour is our cornerstone experience — a six-day holiday crafted to give you a deep, immersive introduction to Montenegro and the wider Balkan spirit. This journey leads you through the country’s most breathtaking regions, from the Adriatic coast in the south to the mountain highlands in the north. Along the way, you’ll enjoy local cuisine, regional wines, and relaxed social moments shared with fellow riders.

Designed for those seeking a week-long escape, this tour is perfect for riders who want to experience the Balkans without crossing multiple borders. Over six days, you’ll explore three distinct regions of Montenegro, spending less time on long transfers and more time enjoying the scenery, unwinding, and taking part in optional group activities. We recommend planning a full week in Montenegro, as the schedule may adjust slightly depending on weather and road conditions.

The tour begins and ends in Tivat, on the Adriatic coast. From there, you will ride through the coastal area, the central mountains, and finally the northern highlands, reaching Žabljak, the highest town in Montenegro. The tour runs from May to mid-June in spring, and from late August to mid-October in autumn.

Throughout the ride, you’ll encounter elevation changes of up to 1,907 meters, often experiencing multiple climates in a single day. Temperatures and landscapes shift dramatically as you travel — from warm coastal air to crisp mountain peaks — adding to the richness of this uniquely Montenegrin journey.

Highlights

National parks: Up to 3 national parks in Montenegro alone, and up to 5 when traveling through Albania and/or Bosnia.

POIs: Between 8–12 major attractions, depending on the selected route and daily riding pace.

  • TOUR DURATION: 6 days vacation, 4 riding days (Montenegro only), or 8 days vacation, 6 riding days (when paired with Bosnia or Albania)

  • TOTAL DISTANCE: 860-1020km for entire trip (adjusted to a variation)

  • RIDING TIME: Average time riding is 4-5 hours per day with the daily distance 200-250km (plus stops and coffee breaks)

  • START / END: Tivat, Montenegro. Nearby airports: Tivat (MNE), Podgorica (MNE), Dubrovnik (HR)

  • DIFFICULTY: Medium. You should have skills riding in variable weather conditions. Also some of the roads are pretty old, they have sand and cracks. at least of 3 years or riding experience is required.

  • ACCOMMODATION: We'll stay in cozy hotels (4*-5*) and chalets, single occupation per room (or double for couples).

  • ROADS: 100% tarmac. We'll be riding all sort or roads - highways, Yugoslav era backroads, serpentines. That will be all tarmac, but conditions can vary.

  • PARTICIPANTS: 4-6 motorcycles group to conduct the tour

BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA AND ALBANIA TOUR EXTENSION

This tour includes optional extensions (green marks) into nearby countries such as Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina. These extended trips are longer in duration, with 6 riding days and a total of 8 days for the holiday. There are no full rest days in between, but the pace is adjusted with shorter daily mileage to keep everyone energized and allow time to recover after each ride. In the calendar below, you can see which tour dates include border crossings to these countries.

PRO LEVEL GROUPS

We also offer a PRO-level variation of this tour, designed for riders with extensive riding experience and prior motorcycle travel in different regions. This version is intended for solo riders only; due to the technical nature of certain routes and the increased difficulty, two-up riding is not permitted so that safety can be closely monitored throughout the journey. PRO-level riding involves longer days, a more active pace, and more demanding roads. If this is your first group motorcycle tour, we recommend the standard version instead — it is equally scenic and rewarding, while offering a more relaxed rhythm that is better suited for couples and riders new to international touring.

Motorcycles

On this tour, we’ll be riding motorcycles from the Yamaha Tracer lineup. Depending on your height and personal preference, you can choose between the Tracer 7 (72hp) or the full-size Tracer 9 (117hp). All motorcycles offer the same luggage capacity, while the Tracer 9 GT models feature electronic suspension for enhanced comfort.

An automatic gearbox option is also available — you can select a motorcycle equipped with Yamaha’s Y-AMT system for effortless gear shifting.

What you see

Our journey includes driving on winding mountain roads and passing through scenic national parks. Also, experiencing local cuisine and visiting historical sites.

Your guide

Our tours are led by experienced riders with 10 to 20 years of international riding experience, gained across a wide range of terrains — from steep alpine mountain passes to desert landscapes and long-distance touring routes.

This depth of experience ensures we understand not only the roads, but also group dynamics, safety, pacing, and how to adapt to changing weather or route conditions.

All tours are conducted in English.

This package is added to the base rider price and includes:

  • Designed specifically for two-up riding, ensuring comfort, stability, and safety throughout the trip
  • Automatic upgrade to higher tier motorcycle for improved two-up performance
  • Upgraded accommodation (double rooms of a higher category)
  • Passenger included in all social and experience elements

PRO-level tours are limited to single riders per motorcycle due to the technical nature and complexity of the routes.
